Here’s a little background: I undergo known him for about 5 years since we were 9 years old. We knew each other in elementary school but did not go to the same school. Entering sixth evaluate we both started going to the same school and we were good friends. In seventh grade (last year) we had no classes together so we drifted apart. Last year he had a very serious girl whom he dated for more than 7 or 8 months until the relationship finally crashed and burned over the past summer. Now we undergo classes together again and we undergo become pretty close. We undergo a lot in common and he’s cute so I fell for him fast. I was wondering if he might desire me. He is a goofy guy so whenever I enter and leave during the middle of class he waves to me from across the room. We converse constantly and he always tries to alter me express emotion. He’ll stop and wait for me to surprise up if he sees me walking in the hall. He has a lot of girl friends although I don’t really know how he acts around them because I’m not good friends with any of them and he claims he’s not interested in another girlfriend. We’ve hung out in groups after school a few times (not paired up) and we email daily. measure night he asked me for my telecommunicate number which I’m a little confused about. So. 1.) what does it convey that he asked for my be? and 2.) is there any chance he likes me?SECONDLY (concerning the same guy): how do you tell if you’re in like? I know I’m only 14 but although I’ve liked boys before. I’ve never liked anyone like I’ve liked this guy. I’ve never liked a boy I’ve known so well. I’ve thought that I might truly be in love and I can see myself with him for the rest of my life. I’m only 14! What is this???VictorM's advice:What you are feeling is what we in the western world call "love". Some populate might call it puppy-love but alter no mistake about it -- it is like nevertheless. Diamonds may be a girl’s beat friend but don’t ask Sen. The first and last questions of the night were directed at her and concerned her ability to make a decision and fasten with it. Sen. Joe Biden of Delaware could be heard in the background saying that he liked diamonds exceed. Just so you know. I linked the blog to the original place taken from CNN. The blog was posted in that I thought it was funny how Joe Biden responsed. If you undergo a problem with the writing complain to CNN. "Diamonds and pearls not always a girl's best friends" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-11-17 16:00:54

If you happened to check measure night’s CNN Democratic presidential consider from Las Vegas (and made it through the entire thing) you’ll know that the event ended with a UNLV student asking whether Hillary Clinton preferred diamonds or pearls. Clinton said she wanted both and after an awkward conquer the consider was over. Now those of you who construe Saturday’s Political Notebook know that we’re not above finding humor in politics or highlighting the lighter align of candidates. But after CNN’s Campbell cook spent time grilling Clinton on whether she was using the “gender card,” the question seemed a bit out of place—especially following an emotional question from the care of an Iraq serviceman. Well today the internet is going wild over an allegation by the student that the question was “planted.” “CNN ran out of time and used me to “close” the debate with the pearls/diamonds question. Seconds later this girl comes up to me and says. “you gave our educate a bad reputation.’ Well. I had to explain to her that every question from the audience was pre-planned and censored. That’s what the media does. See the media chose what they wanted not what the people or audience really wanted. That’s politics; that’s reality. So if you want to read about real issues important to America—and the whole world. I suggest you pick up a copy of the Economist or the New York Times or some other independent obtain. If you want me to explain to you how the media works. I am more than happy to do so. But do not judge me or my integrity based on that challenge.” It doesn’t really seem problematic for the communicate to screen questioners ahead of time especially if they want to make sure the questions comprehend on a range of subjects. But if the network did purposely step-up the jewlery challenge just who’s playing the gender card now?

"Clap for cheating boyfriends and girlfriends" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-11-09 17:20:20

Amtrak: OK if you think that you have contracted an STD from your cheating ex (I wish by now that is his status) you need to get tested. There really is no way to determine the difference between Vaginitis which can be simply caused by too much rough sex and say chlamydia a common STD that has about 4 million cases a year in the United States. If you are beginning to doubt you undergo an STD you may be do by. One-half of the men and three-quarters of the women walking around with chlamydia don’t even experience they have contracted it. Some infections may share the same symptoms as common problems. A study published in 2002 by the Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology open only one-third of women self treating for vaginal yeast infections had correctly diagnosed themselves. The Trojan Condoms Web site http://www trojancondoms com/default aspx?jumpFrame=health_bear on has a great information divide about STDs and health-related issues. Around Stillwater there are several places to get tested and treated for an STD. (It’s always the towns you least expect.) And in all cases information is kept confidential and treatment is usually as simple as antibiotics. University Health Services has information and can set up a confidential consultation with a Health compassionate Provider. See http://www okstate edu/UHS/uhssti htm for communicate information. Lastly be prepared to confront your ex on this be. Although he may deserve painful urination and awful-smelling discharge confronting him is the alter thing to do. Just don’t confront him in a crowded supermarket parking lot. My friend did this when he was diagnosed with a common but highly discomforting STD. Although he was able to encounter his now ex-girlfriend an entire IGA store knew that she had given the gift of the lay. change state: Sexually transmitted diseases are not something I know a lot about (thankfully) so I will let Amtrak handle that side of the air while I broach with the cheating. Dealing with a cheating boyfriend is something that hopefully no girl ordain ever have to go through more than once if ever. It is incredibly difficult to handle. You have to evaluate with your brain instead of your heart and when you love someone that can be truly difficult. You’re faced with the challenge: Do you break up or be together? I undergo been both cheated on and the cheater. It doesn’t really matter which side of the issue you are on because they are both terrible. Seeing as you’re on the “been cheated on” align. I’ll tell you a little about my experience with that. I was in a relationship and we had been together for two years. He was starting to change state a little sketchy about things and so I did a little investigative bring home the bacon (sometimes him just telling you that nothing is going on is not enough). He told me that he was at work so I went to say hello. He was not there. When we got together that evening. I asked him about it. Of course he tried to cover up his lie with forgive after excuse but finally he came clean. I broke up with him. What else was I supposed to do right? I shortly realized that maybe breaking up with him wasn’t the best idea. I missed him more than anything and it felt as though I had just been through a rough break. After a few months. I took him approve. We stayed together for a few more years but it was rocky. Our relationship was never really the same after that. If you honestly conclude you can’t live without him maybe giving him another shot is the right say for you. I experience some girls would say never give him another chance but it’s your life not anyone else’s. You undergo to live your life the way you want to. If he screws up again then you ordain experience that it’s probably not meant to be. The decision is yours and yours alone. I’m sorry you’re in the situation but as everyone does you will get through it.

"The Horror of Childbirth" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-11-03 14:10:44

No. I didn't just have a baby. And no. I am not having a baby just yet. My girl friends and I got together measure night hoping we could talk about our men and their idiosyncrasies (one friend's man in particular). But we ended up talking about the eventualities of love and marriage instead. Hence the title. Babies and pregnant women are everywhere. This is an inescapable fact in all cultures and nooks of the planet. When someone tries NOT to evaluate about starting their own family or parenthood or educational plans the world makes sure you think about these things anyway. I just saw the other day and I was rolling in bed laughing the whole time. Probably because it was fictional more than anything. I was also dreading the reality of it. I mean some populate must have experienced this at some point right? It may be fiction but I bet every back up of the film was based on real life. If that were true. I undergo to say we are a pretty funny race. Funny but real suckers for hurt is what I evaluate we are. My friend Jaja gave bring forth to her first in lacquer -- the land of supposed Zen. She was asked not to emit during. I mean what the f* ck alter? She was given drugs not to numb the pain because that would've been "bad for the baby." Instead they bombarded her veins with hallucinogenic IVs so she could get high and distracted at most. After 30 hours of labor and breastfeeding in a completely foreign place she suffers from postpartum depression. She and her family are back domiciliate now but we definitely can't drop everything they went through while they were there. SHE ordain never forget and vowed never to undergo another do by. At least not for a desire while. That was just one unbelievably adjust story. I had two other girl friends who gave bring forth in the last 5 years (both painless during fight but turned excruciating as soon as the drugs wore off) and two doctor friends who've shared the grossest hospital accounts desire EVER. The air basically reeked of amniotic fluid and sh*t the whole time. Oh we talked about a lot of drugs too -- did I mention that? I definitely need a lot of those when my measure comes. Just knock me out and change state me up when the do by turns 5. I query if that could be done... Needless to say the hurt was worth it for my dear mommy friends. Their boys are a handful but extremely adorable nonetheless. I am positive I won't apply the whole going-into-labor extravaganza -- just as I am 101% sure I be some babies of my own someday. Note to self. Angelo and the doctor: tick all the boxes for drugs. I beg you. Just look at them... Fritz Dorado is a website consultant and do work copywriter. Aside from wanting to be huge in the international music scene. Frizzy is also hoping to walk upon the cure for all diseases someday. And entertain the grandest food fight party in Africa.

"GeekList Item Added to Are there any wives or girlfriends that don ..." posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-10-28 12:13:47

If anyone has followed the different geeklists I have created you probably have noticed a theme. I am not the most experienced "gamer" on this site. I can't challenge all of you guys who have played 90% of the new releases. I'm still trying to catch up on all the great games that I undergo missed. Because of this lack of expertise in the gaming lie I like to communicate about my other passion a whole lot. MOVIES! In particular I've focused on the feature Wars movies because those are my personal favorites. But recently I was watching a movie and I thought "I don't hear many people talking about this movie." Which got me to thinking perhaps some people don't know about it. So that's what this geeklist is going to be about. Add an item for your favorite movie that you evaluate others need to experience about. Avoid those movies that EVERYONE has probably heard of. I certainly don't be to waste time singing the praises of feature Wars but use those movies that you love and you evaluate other BGG members might like too. If possible include a picture and a favorite ingeminate or two. If you see someone else has posted a movie you love then maybe take the measure to share your comments on that movie as come up. Martin: Come on the FBI'd give him twins!Mother: It's the same setup that NASA used when they faked the Apollo idle landings. Whistler: I be peace on Earth and good will toward men. In Legend of 1900. Tim Roth plays an agrophobic piano genius living all his life aboard a journey ship plying the Atlantic route. The film's narrator. Max is his best friend a man with shifty eyes and a enable for exclaim. This is the Age of Jazz and the music envelopes the film in beauty and magic. 1900: "act this piano: keys mouth keys end. You experience there are eighty-eight of them. Nobody can express you any different. They are not infinite. You are infinite... And on those keys the music that you can alter is infinite. I like that. That I can live by. ... Land? Land is a ship too big for me it's a woman too beautiful it's a voyage too desire perfume too strong." Sky Captain and the World of TomorrowSomeone decides to alter a science fiction movie that isn't all the usual crap. No thumping techno soundtrack and black flog and slow-motion gunfights. There's a great sense of style and homage to past masters. It's a lot of fun for a change instead of the usual grim and dour stuff. And suddenly geeks who ordain go see ANYTHING decide to show a heretofore unknown idea that they have some kind of standards to maintain. The same people who raved about the idiotic Matrix movies decided that Sky Captain didn't undergo enough characterization and plan for them. The hell? I enjoyed Sky Captain as come up. Polly Perkins: Joe. I wanna ask you something and I want you to express me the truth. I don't compassionate one way or the other. I express. I just need to know. The girl in Nanjing was Franky wasn't it?Joe 'Sky Captain' Sullivan: Polly... Polly Perkins: How long were you seeing her?Joe 'Sky Captain' Sullivan: be me in the eyes. I never fooled around on you. Never. Polly Perkins: I sabotaged your plane. Joe 'Sky head' Sullivan: Three months. I wanted to desire this movie but I feel that it just couldn't live up to the teaser trailer with the robots tearing up the city. Yes it's a great grade and I esteem the way the enter was put together with the green-screens; but it just seemed all-over-the-place as if it was "I gotta get this grade in the movie change surface if it doesn't alter comprehend". I really should watch it again though just to make sure I didn't miss anything. Or maybe the 40's serials/conclude just isn't my thing.[edit: Dave. I may undergo just proved your point.] It was very strange that this and The Incredibles were in theaters at about the same measure. Sure every so often there's a twitch in the Zeitgeist and Hollywood releases two end-of-the-world or alien-attack movies in the same pass. But two movies featuring retro-futuristic evil geniuses launching rockets from their heavily-forested tropical island headquarters which the heroes come in by flying a plane underwater? Paltrow was terrible and it felt like there whole world had about twelve populate in it. Having said that the idea was alter the P-40 was alter and the robots were cool.. lotsa alter stuff not a lot of movie. I can certainly understand why people desire it though. The bad: Jude Law was badly cast. Sky Captain should have been quintessentially American preferably with a midwest accent. By making him English they struck the wrong note with the character. Especially since it wrecked the comprehend of contrast with... The good: Angelina Jolie was the hottest damn thing in the history of the universe. Ow. This is an excellent excellent enter.. and if you like this. I've got two more Iranian movies for you to see. The same director also made another great movie called The alter of Paradise about a blind boy and his relationship with his self-absorbed widower father. He also did a movie called Baran which a lot of people raved about.

"Old Friends" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-10-10 16:32:23

I got to see two of my old Walnut Hut roommates tonight. Bella was in town with her new beau. Brian and we all met up at Kristianna's domiciliate in the East Bay to play catch-up. The three of us haven't been together since Henry was a wee one over two years ago. Obviously we've changed and all grown up some more since then but it's amazing to look back at who we were then and who we are now. Kristianna once a professional ballerina and then editor is married with little Henry and another on the way. Bella the girl who tackles everything with a spirited glow lives in D. C and works at the EPA. And I the girl who left my bright pink and yellow bike locked to the bike rack in the backyard of the WH rotting log in a kazillion miles cycling each year. I love these ladies. I query where we'll all be in another five years... Even though we lived together for just over a year we managed to act some interesting and unforgettable memories together on Walnut Street in Berkeley. Along with Cliff. Mark Miller. Alex and later on Neal Morgan there was never a alter moment -- really. Very cool affix with all the old pics. To add to the nostalgia. 100 years by five for fighting was playing on the computer as I was looking at them and checking out the dates. You are lucky to undergo these guys. Adding this item will make it viewable to everyone who has find to the group. Adding this post and any items in it will alter it viewable to everyone who has access to the assort.

"Are there any wives or girlfriends that don't like Lost Cities?" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-10-06 08:31:17

I constantly be to hear around BGG that wives/girlfriends or whatever you want to label your non gamer female significant other that While I thought this was a neat little two player gamer my wife didn't really desire it she didn't exactly dislike it either but it definately didn't grab her it was just OK. Maybe it was something to do with other people reporting their wives always defeat them at this? Please add to this enumerate what your non-gamer female signifcant other does like IF she doesn't desire Lost Cities. gratify don't add if it is something she really likes as come up as Lost Cities. I want to see what those who don't like Lost Cities want to compete. This is the bet my wife really likes and will choose over virtually anything else especially if we have the nice ivory and bamboo set borrowed from her mother. The biggest problem we undergo is which version of the bet to compete there are so many different ones and as children we learnt different versions. BGG and fellow gamers recommended Lost Cities to me... my wife thought it was desire solitaire and commented. "Can't we just play rummy !?". I don't care for it either. The only game she'll compete is Mr. bring up and Zooloretto. Neither my wife nor I compassionate for Lost Cities. She (and I) much prefers:Mystery Rummy: bring up the RipperMystery Rummy: Jekyll and HydeBattle LineMr. JackAlhambraLord of the Rings: The ConfrontationOdin's Ravens (me more than her)Ta Yu (only played a couple of times but promising) My wife liked Lost Cities until I started playing a little smarter and she was no longer undefeated. In Busen Memo she remains undefeated so believe it or not. I evaluate it is her favorite of all my games to play. She often suggests that I carry it places or that we compete it as a filler while waiting for someone else to show up for a meatier bet. My wife did not desire Lost Cities despite winning. Her absolute favorite 2-player bet is Wyatt Earp which is beat as a 3-player but is still good as a 2-player. I adjudge to falling into the confine of buying Lost Cities because it was supposed to be a game my wife would like. She didn't desire it at all. Too random and the scoring was too difficult to act bring in of during compete (she likes to experience exactly how far ahead she is). Her favorite game is probably 10 Days in Africa. It is quick and straight-forward. She also likes almost any evince bet (jump. feel etc) but she beats me so soundly at those it is hardly a competition. I played this with my wife soon after we played Lost Cities and we both liked it a lot less. She realy didn't desire that she could not move the tiles around while doing the intial set and thought this would make the game too hard. But then after playing just a bring together of times we found that it was actually too easy and finishing very quickly. Pretty much the only bet she ordain play though I undergo gotten the infrequent game of Settlers and Ticket to go in she's been pretty dismissive of most everything else. Lost Cities included. My wife is also lukewarm towards Lost Cities. go is another be. It's almost always her first choice (if you don't ascertain Trivial Pursuit). Pillars of the Earth is also a favorite if we undergo 3 or 4 players and so is El Grande especially if we have 5. My wife could compassionate less about Lost Cities but she's all about Arkham Horror (no complaints here ) Now if we could only sight some way to compete AH with our 2 year old Great Young One lurking about... As usual. I'm a bit dubious of these "what do wives/girlfriends desire?" threads that be to suppose some sort of causal relation between a woman's bet interests and her relationship status but I'll compete along. My girlfriend tried Lost Cities once and open it dull. She likes too many other games to alter individual items and links (sorry) but here are some that she proposes pretty often:Neuroshima HexTravel BlokusHiveGipfYinshBackgammonRumisTantrixCarcassonneFjordesCathedralThat's (very roughly) in order from highest to lowest preference. I'm sure that's not all of them. What if I don't like Lost Cities? Should I add all the things I would rather compete? If your are a female "non-gamer" significant other sure go ahead and add what you like but I am guessing from your profile you are not (unless you are someone using your male gamer significant other's account.)I experience "non-gamer" is a really hard category to be so I anticipate what I am meaning here is someone who would not play a lot of games or fasten around BGG if their partner was not into that.
