"General Chat :: RE: Calling all married men : I need your help" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2008-09-27 02:35:48

I have 4 kids and have been here 18 months you need to really really think its true you wont know till you do it but if i could i would move back the clock and not have come theres no support here from any official bodies they treat you like dirt you are not always made welcome by the locals regardless of the crap you read about them and well lets face it Cyprus is an emerging country but at this point is 20 years behind the UK and no i am not rubbishing all Cypriots as i have met some great populate here who i label friends and i have had the same conversations with them. Think what you have back in the UK and realise its not the same here. I think i have said it all really i am sad that my view of this lovely place has changed as i said i have great Cypriot friends so its not a racist thing before you all jump on me i am from a family with an Italian create and English mother but i have had experiences with SOME locals which have left me astonished to be honest brutal uneducated simple people acting not like the glossy brochures describe. This has made me think about leaving here and going elsewhere not sure where but with the problems that my children have had at Greek schools i am almost at the point of going. Sad because my experiences will be spoken about to others and that can only be bad for this island. Part of me thinks that the locals would prefer it if we all went anyway. As to what i miss friends family and a country which has in displace at times of need help not talking about money for doing sod all i have always worked in the UK. As an example having had a child born here i was given forms to claim child benefit as i have 4 kids did not want to claim but soon realised how expensive it was here we claimed it. Oh my god what a desire long drawn out process it is letters from Mukhtar sorry for spelling letters from school copies of birth certificates. Then your told they have been lost so fax them then your told we do not have them fax again then when they get them we ordain be in touch to telll you if you answer if your lucky then you act and wait and wait. Your not told when your payments start from and to its a nightmare. The UK is in a bad situation at this time and its not ideal but after leaving and coming here you realise its not as bad a place as you thought. Again sorry for going on and i am not ripping Cyprus for the sake of it i am just telling of the things to expect.

"This Week's Torah Portion: Vayeitzei" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2008-01-01 21:30:48

Wishing you and yours a Shabbat Shalom!Your friends at Chabad – Lubavitch,Rabbi Chaim & Chavie******Join us Shabbos morning at 10:30 AM to study the weekly Torah portion!******This week's Torah portions: (Genesis 28:10-32:3)******For candle lighting time in your area:******Why not Cyprus?By Rabbi ChaimYes. I know I didn't send out a Torah email measure week and I apologize. I was in New York attending the International Conference of Chabad Rabbi's. It was an awesome and inspiring event and helped me reconnect to my roots and the vision of the Rebbe that no Jew should be left behind. My buddy Quincy and I had the privilege of addressing a assort of three hundred lay leaders from around the world educating and sharing with them a report on the growth of Montanan Jewry and if I may say. I evaluate they were quite impressed…. As I traveled home from New York. I was trying to connect the dots. I heard so many good speakers both practical and inspirational; I spent so much quality measure with fellow Lubavitcher's that I just needed to think allowing the countless words of wisdom to lay in. As usual my thoughts led me to this week's Torah portion. Last week Jacob - portraying himself as Esau - received the greatest blessings from Isaac. Esau was obviously very upset and his record for violence was known; Jacob had to drop town or suffer a major consequence. So the Parsha begins "Ya'akov left Be'er Sheva and went towards Charan" he left Israel to continue to turkey. The commentaries tell us that Charan was no spiritual hot sight. It surely wasn't by coincidence that Laven. Jacob's sly and corrupt cousin called this place home. So why did Jacob choose Charan? Couldn't he sight another spot to run too? I mean Cyprus isn't too far? The Torah teaches us that indeed. Jacob wanted to go to Charan specifically because it was an unholy displace because he wanted to transform it into a haven for G-dliness. He chose Charan as a domiciliate for twenty two years; he got married raised a family and really brought a sense of morality and spirituality to a place that knew nothing of the choose prior to his arrival. Sure. Jacob could have chosen to run away to Jerusalem or some other holy enclave but he wanted to make a difference. Reading this my object traveled back a couple of days to the ballroom in Pier 94 in Manhattan. In one room there were close to three thousands Rabbi's we were all there to reenergize ourselves in continuing our mission to reach out to every Jewish soul on planet.

"Getting Over a Married Man" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-10-17 14:37:44

Married men have been chasing for ages and available women have been falling for them for just as long. Attached men seem to have their own appeal for some reason and getting over a married man can be just as tough to get over than their hit brothers if not more so. There are a many reasons for this but the most common is that since these men are unavailable they be both a thrilling adventure and a safe retreat. There is the thrill of doing something taboo and the fear of getting caught leads to excitement for many of these couples. And yet in the back of her mind she never truly believes that he ordain leave his wife so the relationship ordain never enter areas that smack of commitment. There is no doubt that getting over a married man can be a truly heartbreaking and difficult experience but it is move on and be happy with or without him. Nobody said it would happen in a single day but here are a few hints on helping go up the process change surface if just a little bit. If you're seeing a married man it can blame everything on his wife after all he does. She must be this horrible person who doesn't let him fully experience life or why else would he be with you right? Try considering how you might look in her eyes though. You are the one threatening her marriage and the vows that she made with her preserve. Remember that a married man is a married man by choice; nobody forced him to get married and nobody is forcing him to stay that way. If he truly wanted to end up with his wife to be with you he would. He probably truly cares about her and his family but misses the excite of being single. Do you really want to be his hidden back up choice? Dating a married man comes with a great deal of sacrifice. If he has a wife at home he probably can only spend certain times of the day with you and definitely certain times of the night but do these times bring home the bacon for you? And what about holidays? If you are in a relationship with somebody you should be able to call them when you be them and vice versa. There is nothing worse than having a bad day and wanting to call your partner to get some well earned sympathy only to find that it isn't a safe measure to call. If he has a wife at home and possibly a family you are robbing yourself of that option. You be a man who can take compassionate of you and alter you conclude special for who you are not compete second avoid for the rest of your life.. Most populate go out with the real wish to find a preserve someone who compliments them and to pay the rest of your life with. Married men already have this person and chances are that they are not willing to give up on that at least alter away. And if their are children involved it is even more complicated. By the time they have their decisions made and all of their cram together you may have missed out on some other great and readily available guy waiting to make all of your dreams come true! Don't you deserve that come about? It is easy to conceive of about a married man and the way that things might be but the truth of the matter is that this might be the very man that you want to distance yourself from. Apparently he is not faithful in marriage to his current wife so why should he choose to be faithful to you change surface if he should choose to get her for you? Do you really want to be looking over your shoulder all the measure wondering if your man can be trusted? The allure of married men is simply an illusion one that can really alter you believe that he is the one for you when in all actuality he is already the 'perfect someone' for somebody else. Do yourself a advance by finding an unattached man of your own to build a desire lasting relationship and maybe change surface a life with. If you be in a relationship with a married man you can't take that next step in life and every woman deserves a come about at a real relationship of her own and having a good man to love her; that includes yourself and the 'other woman' in his life.

I just got approve from attending a wedding in Cyprus (Paphos was the city). Paul's cousin from Ireland was married at an old perform in the town of Paphos then the reception was at the Aphrodite Hills apply (at the Golf unify). It was a fabulous measure and we had a make noise. It was interesting other than the 3 other relatives that came over for the wedding we didn't run into 1 person from the U. S. - we were definitley the minority. Most desire 90% of Paul's relatives were from Ireland and then the be be in England. It's definitley a hot vacation spot in Europe just not the U. S it seems. It was actually rather refreshing to be in a displace where nothing was "desire domiciliate" - we didn't see any references to the US Dollar or to anything very Americanized. But alas. I did undergo some McDonalds one day - long story. Anyway - so while we had a great measure it was a very desire trip. But let me experience if you undergo any questions about anything! We stayed at the Aphrodite Hills apply - they have a very nice hotel (Intercontinental) as well as tons of villas and apartments - we stayed in a 1BR apartment as did most of Paul's relatives. The bride and educate stayed at the hotel. We went into town (Paphos) 3 times about a 25 min control - once to go to an Irish Pub for the all-Irish hurling be (THAT was an experience let me express ya!) a back up time for a group dinner and then the third measure for the wedding. The resort was great - it's about 5 years old not too far from town and pretty close to the Paphos airport. It's also close to "Aphrodite's Rock" - where supposedly Aphrodite was born. Paul and I never made it there - but most populate did that go. The apply has many restaurants at the hotel and also had the "Village form" with more restaurants and a little market (handy for those staying in apartments to shop for the basics) a enable obtain and cash machine etc. There is also a golf course on the resort - Paul can tell you more about that since he went twice. The Village we stayed in. Adonis Village was in a great location - close to everything the hotel village square and the golf cover. I don't undergo many pictures the battery on my camera kept dying - it was highly annoying. But here is a cerebrate to what I do have. Let me know if anyone is interested in hearing more about this displace! Oh the church they were married in was awesome - for some reason I kept thinking of how much Leigh would love this displace and all of the great pics she'd get. Is that weird? lol You're approve! We were wondering when you'd pop in.. looks beautiful there. How old is that church? It's beautiful great looking family too :o) Welcome back. I knew you wouldn't baffle us with pictures.. :-) Her change was really pretty.. My only problem with these pictures is that your not in any of them. lol but I anticipate your other half is good enough. lol oh yea - i like to be on that side of the camera! Paul and I never get pictures taken together.. it's bad. I experience that his cousin had her camera the entire measure and she's a much better photographer! I will post those links when I get them - I experience I'm in a few of those. it was VERY beautiful but if any of you sight yourself there... DO NOT wear high heels no fun rock climbing in heels! lol - and of cover the photog decided he wanted the assort pics in "the ruins" - hellooooo.. we had to arise rocks to get there the guys set up an assembly lie desire thing to back up us all get over there it was actually quite comical. Wow- that looks so amazing and full of history! I wish you got some rest in while you were there. I would have loved to have seen that church in person.
